Two kinds of ending, and no way to tell from the cover
Every Candy Shorts series looks the same on the grid: a vertical poster, a title, two free episodes. Watch one through and you find out it was one of two different products.
In the first kind, the credits of the final episode are not the end. A character from the story, usually the one the whole thing revolved around, is waiting on the other side as somebody you can open a conversation with and keep it going. In the second kind, the last episode plays out and there is nobody there. The story is closed.
Fifty-eight series are the first kind. Nine are the second. The platform marks neither, and the difference changes what you are actually buying when you pay for episode three.
The nine that end when they end
For the record, because nobody else keeps one: Claimed by the Dragon Queen, Cleopatra and Caesar, Date With My Stepmom, His Wife, His Rules, My Girlfriend’s Stepmom, My Hot Professor, My Wife’s Personal Trainer, Room 742 and Sworn to the Queen all finish with their last episode and hand you to no one.
There is no obvious pattern. Two are costume pieces, several are ordinary household setups, one is a hotel. Whatever decides it is not visible from the outside, which is exactly why it is worth writing down.
None of this makes them worse. A story that ends is a perfectly good thing to buy. But if what you wanted was the character rather than the plot, these nine will leave you without one, and you would rather know that for thirty-six tokens than after them.
In seven series, the person waiting is real
Seven titles carry a credited performer whose face was licensed for them. Bonnie Blue has Student Bodies and Bonnie Blue is My Stepsister; Riley Reid has My Step-Sister’s Dormitory, My Wife’s Best Friend and My Stepmom’s Weekend; Sophie Dee has Under Her Watch; Mia Malkova has Private Lessons. In all seven, the character you are handed to afterwards is that performer’s own profile.
Being handed to a real person’s twin is a different proposition from being handed to an invented character, and the platform prices it as one: thirty tokens an episode on these seven, twelve on everything else. She agreed to lend her face; the episodes themselves were rendered, not shot; and the conversation afterwards is with a version of her, not of someone who never existed.
Everywhere else in the catalogue the character is an invention. Simona Rossi, who you meet at the end of My Neighbor’s Husband Works Nights, and Bree Whitlock, at the end of Yes Professor, correspond to nobody.
What stays the same in every series
Two episodes free, and those two show nothing explicit. The turn comes at the third, in all sixty-seven. From there the series is adult material and stays that way to the end.
Five episodes is the usual length. One title has nine, one has fifteen, and neither gets extra free episodes for being longer. Past the free pair you pay per episode: twelve tokens, or thirty where a performer is credited. Nothing you buy in one series counts towards another.
Nothing is filmed. Every frame in every title is produced by a model, whoever the character turns out to be.
How the ranking at the top works
The list above the grid follows what this site’s readers have rated, not by what arrived last. Every series page has a rating strip; the average and the count feed the ranking. Until a title has votes, the editor’s number holds the place and is labelled as such.
Nowhere else, as far as we can tell, are these titles ranked by the people who actually paid to finish them rather than by a tag the platform chose. Vote on what you finish; the list moves.
How to use the two free episodes
They show you the premise and the quality of the writing. They show you nothing about how explicit the paid episodes get, and nothing about whether anyone is waiting at the end.
So check two things on the series page before paying for the third episode: the score, which we set after watching the paid half, and the first line of the facts, which says whether the story continues with a character or closes. Then decide.
